    Aurora, CO--In its fourth current project with Denver Public Schools (DPS), A&P has been selected to build a new educational building on the newly opened DPS K-12 campus. Vista Academy, which will be the third school building on the unique multi-facility campus, is set to open in the fall of 2011. The project is designed by DLR Group.

    Cheyenne, WY--Laramie County has selected A&P to complete the utilty and landscaping work on the 875-acre Archer Complex site. A&P will carry out work on underground utilities, electrical, sewer and water, and also look after irrigation, sod, plants and trees. The work is expected to begin in October 2010.

    Aurora, CO--A&P has been awarded the construction of a new 8,500 square foot medical clinic in Rifle, Colorado. The nine-month construction project is set to begin in September 2010.

    Charlotte, NC--The University of North Carolina Pembroke has awarded A&P the construction of a new three-story, 87,000 square foot building for the nursing and health professions, and the associated sitework. The facility will house classrooms, seminar rooms, clinical demonstration laboratories, wet laboratories, offices, cafe and other support spaces. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2010 with completion expected in December 2011.

    Tacoma, WA--Mason County Public Utility District #3 has awarded A&P the construction of the 22-acre Johns Prairie Operations Center. The project, which is targeting LEED® Gold certification, will consist of five separate buildings totaling 142,000 square feet. Work is scheduled to begin August 6, 2010. The Tacoma-based firm of TCF Architecture is providing design services.

    Tacoma, WA--MultiCare Health Systems has selected A&P to renovate two floors of the Pacific Horizon Building in Tacoma. The 23,000 square foot renovation will begin July 19, 2010. Tacoma-based BCRA is the design firm on the project.

    Tempe, AZ--A&P has been awarded the site development package for the new Paseo Lindo retail development in Chandler, Arizona. A&P was also recently awarded the sitework for the development. The offsite work, set to begin in August 2010, will include such tasks as widening a road, adding a turn lane, roads cuts and connections for utilities, modifying the center median, and completing landscaping upgrades. Rick Engineering is the engineering firm on the project.

    Tempe, AZ--Honeywell has awarded A&P the renovations of executive offices at two occupied 325,000 square foot buildings in Phoenix, Arizona. 

    A&P has a longstanding relationship with Honeywell, and the two companies have worked together on many successful construction projects. The Phoenix project, designed by Middough, Inc., begins construction in July 2010.

    Minneapolis, MN--The Nash Finch Company has awarded A&P a design/build project to rebuild a freezer warehouse and loading dock damaged by fire. Construction began July 6 on the facility, which is located in Fargo, North Dakota. Pope Architects of Minneapolis is the project designer.

    Tempe, AZ--Central Arizona College has awarded A&P the first phase of its bond program, which will include an expansion of the Surprise Mountain campus at Apache Junction.
