This new single-story fire station includes four bays and 13 dorms. The modern architecture of the station features insulated metal wall paneling and concrete blocks that seamlessly integrate into the surrounding industrial setting and the desert environment. The use of natural materials for the station, including locally manufactured integral color ground face concrete block units, the prevalent use of steel and perforated metal, further relate to the industrial buildings near the site. The station also includes roof mounted photovoltaic modules.
