Sunrise Medical Campus Phase II
This two-story, steel-frame building is the second phase of a premier eight-acre medical campus that is home to many groups of physicians. The original scope called for site development and shell construction, but when construction began Rushforth/A&P worked with the first secured tenants to incorporate their space planning into the shell construction. Well after construction was under way, a large endoscopy tenant was secured, and Rushforth/A&P quickly realized the facility would need significant modifications to accommodate this tenant’s specialized requirements. This proactive approach saved the owner and tenant thousands of dollars and prevented delays in completing the facility. Fire proofing, fire separations and re-designed exiting were successfully incorporated into the core and shell construction, preventing the need for later retrofitting and maintaining the original open-concept design.
