Wright County Jail & Law Enforcement Center

Located on an 89-acre site that will also include new courts in the future, this new county jail and law enforcement center was built with the flexibility to expand. The single-story jail features 216 precast concrete modular cells with 326 beds, which can be expanded to accommodate 446 beds. The two-story law enforcement center can accommodate up to 120 personnel from the sheriff’s department, and also includes classrooms, training rooms, evidence vault, fitness room and locker rooms. Site improvements included a five-acre geo-well field with 474 geo-bores to supply geothermal heating and cooling to the building.
