(Dallas, Tex. – February 12, 2013) – Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P) is pleased to announce two recent leadership appointments in the Gulf States region. The moves, which include the addition of a new senior vice president, will serve to strengthen the local leadership team for continued growth in the region.
A&P Announces Key Leadership Appointments in the Gulf States Region
Corbett R. Nichter has joined the Gulf States region as Senior Vice President. In this capacity he will serve as the regional leader responsible for all operations in the Gulf States region. During his 20 year career, Corbett has held several leadership positions in the Texas construction marketplace, successfully leading efforts to secure nearly $3 billion in contracts with commercial, corporate, and institutional clients.
Corbett's extensive experience in leadership, contract negotiation, business development and marketing will add tremendous strength to Adolfson & Peterson’s already strong presence in the regional construction market. Corbett is a native Texan and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M as well as an MBA from Houston Baptist University.
In a related move, Granger Hassmann has been promoted to the position of Chief Estimator for the Gulf States region. Granger has been a key member of the A&P regional team for more than 12 years. During his 15-year construction career, Granger has worked closely with owners, developers, architects and project teams. He oversees development of budgets, value analyses, construction costs and schedule requirements in order to make each project a success. Granger holds a BS in Business Administration from Texas A&M University and also studied at Southern Methodist University.
