Medical and Prescription Drug Insurance

A&P offers medical and prescription drug insurance to our employees and their families, with only a small employee-paid portion of the monthly premium. In addition, we offer a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA) and a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to help employees plan for their current and future healthcare needs.

Annual physicals, prenatal care programs, screenings for common health issues and family influenza immunizations are provided at no cost to employees as part of our medical plan.

Dental Insurance

A&P offers dental insurance through Delta Dental for employees and their families with only a small employee-paid portion of the monthly premium.

Fitness Center Discount Programs

Employees and their families may receive a discount on their membership to participating fitness centers around the country.

Life Insurance/Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance

Immediately upon employment, all employees are eligible for standard company-paid life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Addition coverage is available for employees at very competitive rates.

401(k) Savings Plan

After the first 6 months of employment, all full-time A&P employees are eligible to participate in our 401(k) Savings Plan. The company matches employees' 401(k) investments dollar for dollar (subject to annual limits). Internet access gives employees full control of their investments.

Profit Sharing

Adolfson & Peterson Construction strongly believes in helping employees save for their future. Profit sharing contributions are made each year (amounts vary by year) into employees' 401(k) accounts -- and the first 3% paid each year vests immediately.

Paid Time Off (Vacation, Personal and Sick Time)

We believe it's important to take time away from work and we encourage people to take vacations. A&P has a paid time off program that combines vacation, personal and sick time to allow employees the maximum flexibility to use their time away from work as it best suits their needs.

Educational Assistance

An inquiring mind is critical in our world today. Adolfson & Peterson Construction pays for all job-related training, and after two years of employment we will pay tuition for pre-approved continuing education that relates to your current or future position at A&P.
